Website of Ilan Leibovitch & Co. Law Office - leibovitch.co.il
1. Who we are and what this Policy covers
The website leibovitch.co.il (the "Site") is operated by Ilan Leibovitch & Co. Law Office (in Hebrew: אילן ליבוביץ ושות׳ - משרד עורכי דין), managed by Adv. Ilan Leibovitch (the "Firm", "we" or "us"). The Firm is the controller responsible for personal information that reaches it through the Site.
The Firm's contact details: 7 HaNafat HaDegel St., Ness Ziona, Israel. Telephone: +972-73-321-1022. Email: [email protected].
This Policy explains in plain language what information reaches us, why, to whom it may be disclosed, how long it is kept and what rights you have. It was written in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, and the regulations under it, including Amendment No. 13, which came into force on 14 August 2025.
2. In short
The Site does not use traffic analytics tools, advertising pixels (such as Meta Pixel, Taboola or Outbrain) or tracking cookies.
The forms on the Site do not store any information on the Site. They open your own email program with a pre-filled message, and you decide whether to send it.
Information you send us is used only to handle your inquiry. We do not sell it and do not use it for targeted advertising.
You have the right to access your information and to ask us to correct it. See section 13.
3. Information you give us
3.1 The forms on the Site
The Site has a contact form, a sign-up form for the school waiting list and a newsletter sign-up form.
At this stage the forms do not send your details to a server and do not store them on the Site. Clicking the send button opens the email program on your device with a pre-filled message to [email protected]. The message is sent only if you choose to send it, and it arrives in the Firm's mailbox.
In the contact form and the waiting-list form you will be asked for your name, telephone number and email address. You may also choose a country and write a message, but this is optional. In the newsletter form you will be asked for your email address only.
If we later move to an external form-processing service, we will update this Policy first and name the service and the country where it stores the information.
3.2 Contacting us directly
You can also contact us by email, by telephone, on WhatsApp or by booking a meeting through Calendly. In these cases we receive the details you choose to give, such as your name, telephone number, email address and the content of your message.
3.3 Do you have to give us your details?
You are not under any legal obligation to give us information. It is your choice. Without a name and contact details we cannot get back to you, and without an email address we cannot send you the newsletter.
Important: please do not send documents or sensitive information through the forms, by email or on WhatsApp, such as signed contracts, bank statements or passport and ID numbers. If this is needed, we will agree with you on a secure way to send them.
3.4 The deal-readiness questionnaire
The questionnaire on the deal-readiness page is calculated in your browser only. Your answers are not stored and are not sent to us.
4. Information stored on your device
The Site does not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies.
Your browser stores on your device (using local storage, localStorage) only these items: that you closed the language banner, your choice in the cookie notice, your accessibility-menu settings, and the path you chose on the home page (buyers or developers).
This information stays on your device, is not sent to us and does not identify you. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings (clear site data).
If we add a traffic-measurement tool in the future, it will work without cookies and without identifying information, or it will run only after you approve it in the banner, with an equal option to refuse. Before it is switched on, we will update this Policy and name the tool, the provider, the country and the retention period.
5. Technical information at the hosting provider
The Site is a static website, hosted by a cloud hosting provider.
As with any website, on every visit your browser sends technical data to the hosting provider's servers, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. The hosting provider may keep this data in server logs for security and operational purposes. We do not use this data to identify visitors.
The fonts on the Site are loaded from the Site itself. The Site does not contact Google Fonts servers.
6. Why we use the information
To get back to you and handle your inquiry, including arranging a call or meeting.
To check for conflicts of interest before we take on a matter.
To add you to the school waiting list and keep you updated about it.
To send you the newsletter, only if you have given explicit consent (see section 9).
To meet our obligations under the law and under the rules of the Israel Bar Association.
To protect the Firm's rights if legal proceedings take place.
We will not use the information for any other purpose unless you consent or the law requires it. We do not sell information, do not build marketing profiles and do not use information for targeted advertising.
7. Who may receive the information
Service providers acting for us, and only for that service: the provider of the Firm's email mailbox and the Site's hosting provider. If we add a form-processing service or a newsletter tool, we will name it here, with the country where it operates, before we start using it.
Lawyers, notaries and other professionals in the country where the transaction takes place, only when needed to handle your matter and with your knowledge.
A competent authority or court, when the law requires it.
Beyond this, we will not disclose the information to anyone.
8. External services you choose to use
The Site links to services run by other companies. Using them is your choice, and the information you give them is subject to those companies' privacy policies:
Calendly (United States): booking a meeting. The details you enter there are stored by Calendly and passed to us for the meeting.
WhatsApp (owned by Meta): sending us a WhatsApp message.
YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram: links to the Firm's channels. The Site has no embedded plug-ins from these networks, so they receive no information from the Site until you click a link.
The accessibility menu: if you turn on the dictionary tool and select a word, the word is sent to Wikipedia (run by the Wikimedia Foundation, United States) to show its meaning. If you turn on voice commands, speech recognition is performed by your browser, and in some browsers the audio is processed on the browser maker's servers. These tools work only after you turn them on.
9. Newsletter and mailings
We send the newsletter only to people who have given explicit prior consent, by ticking a box that is not pre-ticked, in accordance with section 30A of the Israeli Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law, 5742-1982.
Every mailing will include the Firm's name and contact details, will be marked with the word "Advertisement" ("פרסומת") in the subject line, and will include a simple way to unsubscribe.
You can unsubscribe at any time, free of charge: through the link in every mailing or by writing to [email protected].
We keep a record of your consent and of your unsubscribe request (date and wording) so that we can prove them, for the period required by law.
At this stage you sign up by sending us an email. If we use an external newsletter tool, we will name it here, with the country where it operates.
10. Transfer of information outside Israel
Some of the services mentioned operate outside Israel, mainly in the United States and the European Union. In addition, because the Firm handles transactions abroad, information may be passed to professionals in the destination country when this is needed to handle your matter.
Such transfers are made in accordance with the Protection of Privacy (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 5761-2001. For example, when the information is transferred to a country whose law ensures an adequate level of protection, or when the recipient has undertaken to us in an agreement to keep and use the information under conditions like those that apply in Israel.
11. How long we keep the information
Inquiries and waiting-list requests that did not lead to an engagement are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted.
Newsletter subscribers' details are kept for as long as they are subscribed. Records of consent and unsubscribe requests are kept for the period required by law.
Information about the Firm's clients is kept in accordance with the document-retention duties that apply to lawyers.
The information stored on your device (section 4) stays there until you delete it.
12. Information security
We take reasonable measures to protect information, in accordance with the Protection of Privacy (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017. Among other things, the Site is encrypted with HTTPS, and access to the Firm's mailbox is limited to those who need it for their work.
No system is completely secure. If a serious security incident affects your information, we will act in accordance with the reporting duties under the law.
13. Your rights
Right of access: you may ask to see the information the Firm holds about you.
Right of correction: if the information is not correct, complete, clear or up to date, you may ask us to correct or delete it.
Removal from mailings: you may ask at any time that we stop sending you the newsletter or other mailings, and that we remove you from the mailing list.
Withdrawing consent: you may withdraw any consent you have given at any time.
To exercise these rights, contact us by email, by telephone or by post using the details in section 17. We will reply within the time limits set by the law and the regulations. We may ask you to verify your identity before we disclose information.
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you may contact the Privacy Protection Authority at the Israeli Ministry of Justice.
14. Minors
The Site and the services are intended for adults (18 and over). We do not knowingly collect information about minors. If a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
15. General information, confidentiality and the lawyer-client relationship
The content on the Site is general information only and is not legal advice.
Contacting us through the Site, filling in a form or sending a message does not create a lawyer-client relationship. Such a relationship is created only after a conflict-of-interest check and the signing of a written fee agreement.
Even so, we keep information given to us in an inquiry confidential and do not disclose it to others, except as set out in section 7.
16. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy, for example when the law changes or when we add a service to the Site. The updated version will be published on this page with the date of the update. A material change, such as adding a measurement tool or a new provider, will be published here before it is switched on.
