Website of Ilan Leibovitch & Co. Law Office - leibovitch.co.il
1. Our commitment
Ilan Leibovitch & Co. Law Office believes in giving equal service to everyone, including people with disabilities. We work so that everyone who visits the Site can read the content, navigate it and contact us easily.
2. Legal framework and standard
The Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998.
The Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, in particular regulations 35A to 35F, which deal with the accessibility of internet services.
Israeli Standard IS 5568, "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines", which is based on WCAG 2.0 at level AA.
The Site was built to WCAG 2.1 and WCAG 2.2 at level AA, which include the requirements of the Israeli standard and add to them.
3. How the Site was built
The Site is a static website written in dedicated code, not on a website-builder platform. Accessibility was built into the page code itself, not added through an external plug-in.
Accessibility features on the Site include:
A "Skip to main content" link at the start of every page.
Full keyboard navigation, with no need for a mouse.
A clearly visible indicator on the element that has keyboard focus.
A hierarchical heading structure and marked page regions (header, navigation, main content, footer) that help screen-reader navigation.
Text alternatives for images that convey information, and decorative images hidden from screen readers.
Sufficient colour contrast between text and background.
The ability to enlarge text in the browser without loss of content or function.
A layout that adapts to screens of every size, including mobile phones.
Form fields with clear labels, marked required fields and error messages.
The page language and text direction (right-to-left or left-to-right) are set in each of the Site's five languages.
The operating system's "reduce motion" setting is respected, so animations are reduced for anyone who has asked for this.
4. The accessibility menu
The Site has an accessibility menu, which opens from the accessibility button that appears on every page. The menu is the Firm's own code, and it is not a product of an external vendor.
Among other things, the menu lets you enlarge text, change contrast and colours, highlight links and headings, switch to a readable font, stop flashing and animations, and enlarge the mouse cursor. In Hebrew it also includes additional tools, such as read-aloud, a dictionary and a virtual keyboard, some of which work only in supporting browsers.
Your choices in the menu are stored on your device only and are not sent to us.
The menu is an aid only. It does not replace the accessibility built into the Site's code, and the Site is meant to be accessible without it.
5. When and how the Site was tested
The Site was tested on 29 October 2026 in these ways:
An automated test with Google's Lighthouse tool, in which the pages tested received an accessibility score of 100.
An automated test with the axe tool.
A full navigation test using the keyboard only.
A display and usability test on a mobile phone.
A manual test with screen-reader software (such as NVDA and VoiceOver) is planned and has not yet been carried out. We will update this statement when it is completed.
Automated tools do not find every accessibility problem, so we continue to test the Site and fix any problems we find.
6. Known exceptions and limitations
The Site links to third-party services whose accessibility is not under our control: Calendly (meeting booking), WhatsApp, YouTube, social networks and other external websites.
The dictionary, read-aloud and voice-command tools in the accessibility menu depend on browser support and will not work in some browsers.
If you come across a page or element that is not accessible, please let us know (see section 8). We will fix it as soon as possible, and in the meantime we will give you the information in another way that suits you.
